Frequently Asked Dental Questions Idaho Falls
We Answer Common Questions for You
Are you considering coming to Cline Family & Cosmetic Dentistry? You may have questions about our dental office or services, and we want to help you see that we’re the right fit for you and your loved ones. Please take a few minutes to read our responses to some of the most frequently asked dental questions we get, but if you have others that we don’t discuss here, don’t hesitate to reach out to us and ask.
How often should I visit the dentist?
We strongly encourage our patients to come into our dental office at least twice every year. These frequent visits are meant to keep dental problems from developing in the first place or at least from getting too severe. During these preventive appointments, Dr. Cline can catch issues while they are still in the early stages, and we can stop issues before they cause you pain or damage to your smile.
What are my options for improving the appearance of my smile?
Depending on your needs and goals, we can provide porcelain veneers, which attach to the front surfaces of your teeth. These lifelike ceramic shells are durable and stain resistant for a flawless look. Other cosmetic options include direct bonding, take-home whitening kits, and metal-free restorations.
Do you treat children?
Absolutely! We love serving patients of all ages, including young children. Our team will build trust and make sure your little one feels at ease throughout each appointment. We will also take the time to educate your child so that they can implement healthy oral habits at home.
Do you place dental implants?
Yes, we do. Dr. Cline can handle the entire process right here in one convenient location, so you don’t have to travel to a specialist’s dental office to have permanent teeth replacements.
What are wisdom teeth, and why would they need to be removed?
Wisdom teeth, also called third molars, are the last set of permanent teeth to develop, typically arriving between the ages of 16 and 25. In many cases, these teeth need to be extracted because there isn’t enough room in the mouth to fit these teeth, causing overcrowding and malocclusion, infections, and pain. If Dr. Cline recommends extraction, you can be sure that our team will make the process as easy and comfortable as possible.
When would IV sedation dentistry be beneficial?
IV sedation can be used for patients who are undergoing complex procedures, such as wisdom tooth extractions or implant placement. It is powerful enough to keep them feeling comfortable and calm throughout the entire process. If you think you could benefit from IV sedation, give us a call!
Do you accept my dental insurance?
Most likely. We are in-network with several PPO dental insurance plans, including Blue Cross Blue Shield. Give our Idaho Falls dental office a call to see if we are in-network with your specific plan. If you don’t have dental insurance, we also offer an in-house dental plan to give our patients maximum savings.
